I am a third-year Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at CREST (Institut Polytechnique de Paris).
My research focuses on topics in family sociology. I am investigating how job losses in manufacturing increased single motherhood in the French working class. Especially, I explore how the weakening of traditional family norms intensified this impact.
I utilize statistical methods on a variety of data sources including census, labor force administrative data (DADS-Postes), and the national survey on immigration (TeO).
I am currently visiting Nuffield College, University of Oxford, for the 2024 Hilary Term, hosted by Professor Christiaan Monden.
Research interests: Family, Work, Immigration, Social Stratification, Poverty
