ENSAI, the French graduate-level engineering school specialized in Statistics, Data Science and Economics, is currently inviting applications for a position in Statistics, all levels. ENSAI is interested in candidates with a Ph.D. in Statistics (or related fields). Candidates with several years of experience after the PhD are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants will have a demonstrated ability to teach Master level courses in Applied Mathematics and Statistics for the engineers and to supervise projects in Applied Statistics. At the associate/full professor level will have an outstanding research record and will be able to supervise PhD students, or, at the assistant level, will show the ability to achieve these qualifications. An active participation in the « Centre de Recherche en Economie et Statistique » (CREST – www.crest.fr) research lab is expected.
The appointment can begin as soon as September, 2019. Tenure can be granted at the time of the appointment or shortly after, according to qualifications. Assistant professors will normally receive a contract for three years renewable for another three years before the tenure evaluation. Salary is competitive according to qualifications.
